LONDON: World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026 will open on Tuesday, bringing together global tourism industry representatives, policymakers, travel businesses and media professionals for three days of discussions, networking and industry announcements.
The event, one of the major gatherings on the international travel and tourism calendar, will introduce an extended early-access arrangement for media representatives, allowing accredited journalists to enter the exhibition from 9 am on all three days.
The official opening ceremony will take place on Tuesday, November 3, with VIP representatives from Egypt, this year’s Premier Partner, joining the WTM London team for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Media representatives have been invited to assemble outside the West Entrance at 8:40 am for the ceremony.
A key highlight of the opening day will be the launch of the WTM Global Travel Trends Report, scheduled for 9:20 am to 9:40 am in the Media Centre Press Conference Room (N1-500).
The report will examine emerging developments and changing patterns in global travel, offering insights into the forces shaping the tourism industry. Its highlights will be made available for download from 10 am on November 3.
WTM London has also designated an International Media Centre in Hall N2 (N1-500), accessible through the West Entrance. The facility will provide journalists with complimentary refreshments, workspace and charging facilities throughout the three-day event.
The organisers have seet up a WTM London Media Centre and the official Media Guide for details of key sessions, press conferences, interview opportunities and other events taking place during the exhibition.
The 2026 edition comes as the global travel and tourism industry navigates changing consumer preferences, evolving travel patterns and new opportunities across international markets. The Global Travel Trends Report is expected to provide an important snapshot of these developments.
